Fashion, style and glamour. Sonam Kapoor has been crowned the style diva! The lady can pretty much pull off any outfit/style, using this as an advantage she’s recently been experimenting a lot with Fashion. Previously during the promotions of Raanjhanaa and recently for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag she’s been seen in western and traditional attires.
Recently the fashionista was featured on the front cover of Vogue India June 2013, where she was wearing a beautiful bright red Alexander McQueen gown with a pair of huge gold-plated Dolce & Gabbana earrings.
Whether it’s the Western look or the traditional, Sonam Kapoor definitely has the grace.. and the guts!

Working the elegant look in a Sailex gown during Raanjhanaa promotions!
It is clearly evident that Sonam Kapoor is a risk-taker when it comes to projects and fashion, and being criticised for this doesn’t bother her at all! “I did start a trend. Now everyone has started experimenting with their hair and clothes, and there’s a reason for that”. Well this really is the attitude to keep for progress 😛

In Dolce & Gabbana.
After all that I have to say, she really is my current inspiration! It’s pretty amazing how she can pull off nearly anything! What do you think? Do you see her as a style diva? or is there someone else in your mind? Comment below & share your views! 🙂 I’d love to know!

Shyamal & Bhumika who started off their venture back in 2006 at the Lakme Fashion Week have gained great recognition over the years in the Asian fashion industry, across India, the US and the UK.
Recently the pair previewed their latest collection “The Red Story” at their Ahmedabad store. “The Red Story” consists of a number of different bridal lehengas, all beautifully designed keeping the traditional colour red in mind. The designed outfits all portray a very modern cultured and luxurious look with beautifully designed blouses and duppatas making the bride feel like a princess on her big day! Compared to their previous bridal collections, I have to say this one has to be my favourite!
(For more information on their collections you can visit their website – http://www.shyamalbhumika.com/ or even pop them an email for any enquires/orders – email@example.com)
For now I’d love to know what you think about this designer couple and their work! So leave a comment below, and do share/like to get more people interacting!
After thinking and thinking for hours I’ve finally decided what my first Bollywood post will be about 😀 IIFA 2013! The biggest and most recent Bollywood award function, which was held in Macao this year hosted by SRK and Shahid Kapoor! As usual a number of nominees were nominated, several awards were awarded.. and breathtaking performances were performed! Performances were by the likes of Deepika Padukone, Sri Devi and Prabhu Deva, Madhuri Dixit and many many more.
Glamour and fashion! Green carpet is always about who’s best dressed, the one that shines the most. Below are some of my favourite best dressed celebs in their designer attires.
Deepika Padukone in a Naeem Khan outfit
Jacqueline Fernandez in a Roberto Cavalli gown
Anushka Sharma was also seen in this elegant and beautiful Roberto Cavalli gown
Yami Gautam was captured carrying this strapless green Swapnil Shinde gown
Shriya Saran wore a Manish Malhotra creation – Lemon Green net sari with a neon pink sleeveless blouse (No doubt his creation will always come under the ‘best’ category :P)
and finally Madhuri Dixit looked absolutely stunning in a black net sari by Karishma & Monica
By the looks of it gowns and net saris were most popular amongst them all! Well these were just a few of my favourite celebraties on the green carpet, all dressed their best! I’ll definitely be looking forward to watching the award ceremony when it gets aired on tv! Till then do comment and share your views. Who do you think was best dressed?.. or even worst dressed? aha
Salaam & Namaste!
Welcome to my Vogue of India blog. Before I get to anything, can I just say this is the first time ever I’m blogging, so I’m pretty much clueless on any tricks and rules of blogging (..that’s if there are any!).
Well a little about myself.. I’m 20 years old, born in India and raised in London! I am a complete lover for asian fashion! oh and of course Bollywood! I swear at times I think I just take Bollywood a bit too seriously hehe. I guess you can say I’m just that typical Indian girl who absolutely adores her culture and country!
I’ll be blogging a lot about my favourite designers and their collections, Bollywood, Bridal and everything else which can all be found at the top in the menu! So surf around and if you share the same interest do leave a comment and share etc! I’d love to read all your comments and views! – oh and if I’m doing anything wrong, please save me from embarrassing myself! haha
Hope you enjoy my posts!
